Designed to overcome the inherent limitations of the factory 6.7L cylinder head, the Delta Series delivers previously unattainable intake and exhaust flow while retaining full street reliability and OEM compatibility.

Every Delta Series head starts as a brand-new OEM Ford casting and is machined in-house using advanced CAD-designed port profiles and state-of-the-art 5-axis CNC equipment.

The Delta Series was developed entirely in computer-aided design (CAD) using OEM Ford data, including complete water jacket geometry. This allows Kill Devil Diesel to design aggressive, high-flow port shapes while maintaining safe wall thickness in all critical areas.

All designs are validated with sonic testing, ensuring durability and long-term reliability—even in extreme performance applications. Water jackets remain completely untouched.  

In addition to the high tech CAD work, KDD also worked in conjunction with airflow expert Darrin Morgan, utilizing his decades of head porting experience for unmatched performance. 

Solving the Factory Intake Port Limitation

The factory 6.7L Power Stroke intake port contains blind, unreachable areas that cannot be fully ported due to the built-in intake plenum. These restrictions limit airflow and cap performance potential.

For the Delta Series Level 3 heads, Kill Devil Diesel removes the factory intake plenum entirely, allowing full access to the entire intake port for a true, complete CNC port.

KDD designed a precision-machined billet aluminum intake plenum to install in place of the factory "built in/cast" plenum.  KDD starts out with a 20lb billet block of aluminum which is precision machined into a 2lb bolt on plenum, restoring full OEM fitment while enabling airflow levels that were previously impossible.
