6.4 Carrillo Rods for Steel Pistons

KDD is proud to present our new exclusive KDD/Carrillo Rods for your 6.4 Powerstroke designed to utilize the 2020 6.7 factory steel pistons!  The 2020 steel pistons are stronger and lighter than the stock 6.4 pistons, and the bore size is a safe .030" over stock 6.4 bore.  We worked with CP/Carrillo to develop an exclusive KDD connecting rod to connect the 2020 6.7 piston to the factory 6.4 crank, built to handle 2000 hp.  While these were built with serious overkill in mind, they'll also be perfectly suited for the rigors of daily driving, heavy towing, and of course high horsepower street applications.  

These are a direct drop in, available in the following packages:

~A set of Carrillo forged rods

~A Carrillo rod and 2020 6.7 factory Ford piston combo which includes factory ford steel pistons, pins, locks and rings.

~A full balanced rotating assembly to drop into your 6.4 block featuring a genuine Ford crankshaft, Carrillo Rods, and factory ford steel pistons, rings, locks.  

NOTE - requires the use of 2020 6.7 pistons, will not work with conventional 6.4 pistons.  The steel 2020 pistons are the equivalent of appx .030" over stock 6.4 bore size.  KDD is happy to machine a block for you, or coordinate with a local machine shop of your choice on any questions regarding the steel piston program. The steel pistons are currently only available in one size.
