OEM bridges were not equipped for today’s performance demands, leading to issues with rockers and pushrods. They’ve introduced extreme-duty valve bridges to handle unprecedented stress levels.
At Manton, they prioritize strength, performance, and longevity in our engineering. Their valve bridges are CNC machined from premium hot-working tool steel bar stock. Each bridge undergoes meticulous hand inspection before core hardening in heat-treating. Post-treatment, bridges are surface ground to remove tool marks, ensuring optimal rocker arm contact. Nitriding follows to create a durable, friction-reducing surface.
The process combines advanced materials, precision machining, and heat treatment for cost-effective friction reduction and extended service life. Correct pushrod length maintains stock rocker geometry, crucial for rocker arm performance.
