We're proud to present our 6.7 Powerstroke Short Blocks, we start with a 100% brand new block from Ford, we perform our final machine work, torque plate hone, pinned main bearings, blueprint decked, line honed mains, ready to become the foundation to your power plant. We then add a new genuine Ford crankshaft, we precision tig weld the crank gear in place, to prevent the gear from slipping under heavy loads. All rotating assemblies get balanced to ISO standard in our CWT balancing machine.
We can configure your engine with either 100% new 11-19 Ford rods and aluminum pistons (coated or bare), Wagler or Carillo Rods with aluminum pistons, 2020 Ford steel pistons and factory rods, or 2020 steel pistons with Carillo Rods. You can also choose from our CNC ground billet steel gun drilled camshafts, or a stock 2020 factory Ford camshaft.
The beauty of this engine configuration is that it allows 11-19 6.7 owners to retrofit a 2020 short block into their earlier trucks.
Note - when choosing camshaft, stage 3 and 4 KDD cams will require aluminum pistons only, because of the required valve reliefs. The top ring groove in the factory steel pistons is too high in the piston to machine them for valve reliefs. Call for pricing!
We don't recommend running larger injectors with stock connecting rods. Stock 2015+ turbo retrofit kits are available, or drop in KC turbo kits are available, as well as MPD T4 kits. With Wagler or Carillo Rods, we recommend up to 100% over injectors, which will support well over 1000 hp with proper tuning/responsible driving.
