KDD is proud to present our billet aluminum 6.0 front cover and kits. This item is specifically for racing, not intended for daily driving. It requires the use of an electric water pump and external or dry sump oil pump. Front cover is CNC crafted from a solid piece of 6061 T6 billet aluminum. The front cover has provisions for factory power-steering pump (utilizes 6.4 style pump for easier mounting, accepts the same pulley and power steering line connections as factory 6.0 pump). The front cover features -16 ORB coolant inlet fittings, -8 ORB coolant outlet fittings, -8 ORB oil cooler feed/return fittings and -12 ORB oil fittings, with optional front suction outlet through front cover, or through pan directly, and front inlet feed or bottom feed to fit multiple applications.
KDD offers the same record setting billet cover/oil pump kits used by the fasted 6.0's on the planet as a comprehensive bolt on option. Kit includes , Peterson Fluid Systems 2 stage wet sump pump or 6 stage dry sump pump, brackets and cog belt. Optional KDD fabricated aluminum oil pan available, either dry sump or wet sump. The wet sump pan features 2 extra turbo drain/IPR drains (-12 ORB), and holds an additional 2 quarts over factory. The dry sump pan features 4 scavenge sections with -12 ORB fittings and eliminates the factory upper oil pan, providing extra clearance under the block.
KDD has engineered these pump systems to provide multiple pressure stages, each stage independently regulated directly at the pump, so you can provide 100+ PSI of oil pressure to the internal engine components and 50 PSI to the secondary oil pumps and/or turbos, etc.
